EQUALnox is a new non-profit 501(c)3 organization committed to the idea of equal rights for all people regardless of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. It is our belief that if the rights of any are infringed, the rights of all are diminished.
EQUALnox envisions creating the first equality for all day, which will take place each year on the first day of spring, March 21st, the Equinox. This day is the dawn of spring, a time of renewal and of life. We want to elevate the profile of this day and have it referred to from 2009 forward as "Equality Day".
